Oh my heck, life has been too good to me!
I haven't updating this is what seems like forever. And not necessarily time-wise, but in regards to all the adventures and events that have happened this month. Hopefully I can adequately share all my stories without boring whoever dares to read this anyway.
Well, my wonderful roommate *C* and I went on a road trip back home to Arizona at the beginning of the month! We had been planning to go for awhile now, but when my car broke down and broke little me had to pay all of the money I had to get it fixed, I had to make some tough decisions and decide not to go. BUT! When I was talking to my Aunt S about it, she mentioned that I should take my two cousins along and that she'd help with gas. I was sold! I was totally excited to make some awesome road trip memories with two of my cousins that I previously did not really have very many memories with.
*C* and I started our journey from Idaho to Utah and stopped and visited lots of friends along the way. I got to introduce her to the Cox family and show her the house that I always talk about. We stopped and saw our past roommate and got to sit and catch up with her. We even went to my very favorite Taco Time in Kaysville!
We stopped and stayed with my Aunt S and then hit the road by 4:30 am with my cousins *J-dawg* and *J*. We were headed to Arizona, but we wanted to spend a couple hours in Vegaaaass.
It was a really fun drive! We stopped in Beaver and got grapes and poptarts for breakfast. Best idea ever. It was so much better than fast food breakfast. Deliciousssss!

*C* drove all the way to Vegas, and when we got there we had a nice pep-talk about not looking at the things people hand you and all that good stuff. I really wasn't worried about having problems, we were in a fairly good sized group, we were all LDS, and we were all too young to do anything anyway. The pep-talk paid off because we had SO MUCH FUN even though it was excruciatingly hot and we walked the whole dang strip.
We started off in the Venetian and *C* loved it! It is definitely one of my favorite places in Vegas. The whole you're-inside-but-you-feel-like-you-are-outside thing is way cool. And come on, it's gorgeous!
I also demanded that we go to M&M World so I could buy *SJ* some green M&M's. (and then ended up getting myself some coconut m&ms and a green m&m necklace, and an m&m dispenser, and an m&m tie for *SJ*). That store is way huge! And way expensive! Sheesh, I'm not going to even mention how much money I blew there! Oh well, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...right?!
No one else really had anything that the specifically wanted to do or see. I told them that we had as much time as we wanted there, since home was only 5ish hours away and it was only around noon. Still, we were all hot and tired and ready to just be home, and no one had any suggestions. However, there was ONE thing that I just HAD to do. Ride New York, New York! Duh! But...! No one would go with me! So I literally went on it by myself. It was so much fun. My cousin and I had been on it the spring before and we snuck back on like eight times, so going once all by myself was a little bit anticlimactic. But fun, nonetheless!
That basically wraps up our Vegas road trip adventure! It was way fun and I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to go with my best friend and my cousins. We made some good memories that I hope will last for years to come!
